SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has announced that the examination for Potential Learners of 8th standard will be conducted in their own schools if the cluster or complex centers are located more than 3 kilometers away.
According to the date sheet issued for the Session 2022-23, JK SCERT stated that the examination of registered potential learners will take place at the Complex Heads or Cluster Heads of the respective Districts as identified by the DIETS.
In a communication, SCERT further mentioned that the complex heads will prepare the confidential material based on the pattern of papers from the regular Middle Standard Examination, 2022-23.
“The answer sheets will be provided by the respective DIETs to the complex heads or cluster heads,” the statement read.
It also specified that the evaluation of the answer scripts will be conducted at the complex centers immediately after the conclusion of each day’s examination.
“If the cluster head or complex centers are located more than 3 kilometers away in middle or high schools, the examination for potential learners will be held in their own schools,” JKSCERT explained.
Furthermore, it stated that the examination papers in such cases will also be provided by the Complex Heads, and “admit cards will be provided to the students by the concerned DIETs.”
“Complex Heads should have the Result of Potential Learners countersigned by their respective DIET Principals,” SCERT added. (KNO)
