SRINAGAR: The State Investigation Unit (SIA) on Wednesday carried out raids at multiple locations in South Kashmir’s Pulwama, Shopian, and Anantnag districts.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that raids are being conducted in the Litter area of Pulwama, the Shirmal area of Shopian district, and in the Anantnag district as well.
“Raids are underway in connection with an investigation in the case of the killing of ATM guard Sanjay Sharma of Pulwama who was killed in February this year. Raids are underway and further details will be shared after the culmination of the raids, he added.
Notably, the case of Sharma’s killing was first investigated by Pulwama Police, however, it was later transferred to the SIA.
