SRINAGAR: Police on Saturday opened fire after observing suspicious movement during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Ganga top under the juridiction of police station Surankote in Poonch district.
Reports said that Special Operations Group (SOG) part of a cordon and search operation (CASO) team opened speculative firing after observing suspecious movement in the area.
A police officer said that a search operation is underway in the area.
