SRINAGAR: A devastating incident unfolded in the Sogam area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, as a young individual tragically ended their own life on Friday.
Officials confirmed that the youth, whose identity has been withheld, resided in Kanthipora Lolab.
Reports suggest that the individual hanged themselves within their residence during the evening hours.
Upon discovery, family members promptly rushed the youth to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, doctors pronounced them dead upon arrival. The police have taken immediate action, registering a case and initiating further investigations into the matter.(KS)
